Dr. Oğuzhan Zengin earned his doctorate in Social Work from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Türkiye. Throughout his career, he has worked across the sectors of health, poverty, and disability services. He has also served as a faculty member at Hacettepe University, Düzce University, Çankırı Karatekin University, and Karabük University. He has contributed to national and international social work projects in Germany, France, the United States, and Canada.
Dr. Zengin completed his postdoctoral studies at the University of Calgary in Canada, receiving the title of Associate Professor in 2018. In 2024, he became the youngest person in Türkiye to achieve the title of Professor in the field of Social Work. He has published extensively in academic journals, book chapters, and a book. He has presented his research at conferences and symposiums around the world. In addition to his academic work, he has founded and is actively involved in numerous civil organizations.
